Job Description:
1. The Surface development team is seeking a talented software development engineer with a strong systems background and experience with operating system framework, API and UI development.

2. Job responsibilities will encompass designing and coding operating system and application APIs and bringing to life user interfaces working with a design team with the entire Windows ecosystem as your userbase.

3. You need to be a team player who works well in a collaborative environment with peers in other development disciplines, Quality and Program Management.

Qualification: BS in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience

Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in software or hardware development related fields

Required Skills:
1. Excellent C++/C# design and coding skills

2. Ability to quickly ramp-up on complex and unfamiliar code

3. Practical demonstrated experience working with and debugging operating systems, applications and APIs

4. Ability to debug systemic issues across multiple layers of the software stack

5. Enthusiastic, motivated and self-driven

6. Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology
